Increased free baggage allowance on all Luxair Luxembourg Airlines flights
Luxair Luxembourg Airlines is implementing the new “piece concept” baggage allowance on all its flights. The piece concept entitles Luxair passengers to increased free baggage allowance with a specified number of included baggage items, depending on booking class, in line with major international and European airlines’ regulations. Maximum weight per piece of baggage applies and varies according to Economy Class
and Business Class.

Safety, Luxair’s highest priority
Last December, Luxair Luxembourg Airlines acquired a simulator destined for cabin crew and pilot emergency evacuation training (Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainer). The device was inaugurated yesterday evening and is now ready for its first training sessions.

1,700 m2 of holidays and leisure activities in good company
The Vakanz fair is a major event for the tourism industry. Last Sunday, it ended on a very positive note for all our Luxair Luxembourg Airlines and LuxairTours teams, who provided a warm welcome to 78 hotelier and incoming agency partners on our 1,700 m2 exhibition stand. Almost 23,000 visitors could discover a wide range of destinations, accommodation, special offers and new products.

LuxairCARGO 2016 Business Review
Record operational performance in a difficult context. LuxairCARGO is reporting 8% annual growth compared to 2015 with 11,115 aircraft movements, 113,000 trucks loaded and unloaded and a total of 820,000 tons of airfreight handled in 2016. It is reporting its best performance since 2007, which was a record year, as volumes handled reached 896,000 tons.
